It’s been an exciting few years for us at WYSE - we’ve had a tremendous amount of support and loyalty from you, our customer, which has enabled us to go from working on my kitchen table to building an experienced team in our new office in Shepherd’s Bush.
We want to be transparent about our journey so far as we know it’s important for you to be able to make informed choices. We’ve never been about fast fashion at WYSE London and believe we have a responsibility to focus on how we can do better to respect the planet and our environment. We will do this by having transparency and visibility throughout our supply chain.
Our factories are audited to ensure they meet high ethical standards for all its staff, ensuring safe working conditions, a living wage, regulated hours and no child labour. We plan to visit our key suppliers and factories working closely on our designs and quality of the product whilst building stronger relationships, recently returning from India, we will visit China when covid restrictions are lifted.
We have started to source our product using more responsible fibres and lower impact alternatives. BCI, Organic cotton, Eco Vera viscose and recycled wools and polyesters will be part of our range going forward. We are working with our supply chain to decrease the use of plastic in production. Our ethics to support more sustainable ways to buy product include buying small quantities to prevent waste and an element of pre order styles to ensure we cut just the right amount in the right size ratio. You can find some of our styles on Mywardrobehq.com where renting for a one off occasion may be a sustainable alternative to buying something.
