For our founder, Marielle Wyse, has always understood that the right outfit holds a truly transformative power. This understanding was not born in a boardroom, but rather woven into the very fabric of her own childhood. She spent endless hours sitting beside her French mother, designing and making her own clothes from scratch. It was there, surrounded by spools of thread and pieces of material, that she discovered a lifelong love for that effortless blend of French and English flair. And also realised that clothes are more than just things you put on your body. They can give you confidence, strength and joy.
After a successful career in television, Marielle took a gentle step back to raise her children. Yet, the desire to create never quite left her. At the age of 49, she decided to return to her true north star, finally bringing her own fashion label to life.
Growing into a complete wardrobe
What began in 2017 as just a handful of colourful cashmere jumpers, was the culmination of a life lived loving style. Those sweaters sold to friends and by word of mouth, grew into an entire collection of clothes and accessories.
