Position: Structured Designer (with the ability to do multi-product, a bonus!)
Reports to: Head of Design
Duration: Full Time
Hours: 5 Days a Week (but with some flexibility)

Position Description:
WYSE London is going through a phase of growth and is looking for the best talent to join our exciting journey.
We are looking for an experienced Structured Designer, with at least 7/8 year’s experience, that can help shape and expand our offering at Wyse. The role will include the development of our tailored, more structured product, covering both the formal and casual aspects of these areas. The successful candidate will have proven technical knowledge and the ability to design with a more structured and luxury mindset across all these product categories: Outerwear, Jackets, Jeans and Trousers. Experience in multi product would be a bonus.

Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Head of Design and alongside the Founder of the brand, to build the more structured pieces in the collection, that will complement the overarching effortless femininity of the brand
- Contribute towards seasonal mood, trend and colour concepts, in collaboration with the rest of the Design team
- Provide in depth research and relevant conceptual view on the more structured product of the brand
- Developing a premium range with an impeccable fit and enduring silhouette, with great technical attention to detail, quality and uniqueness with an elevated high-end aesthetic
- To deliver newness to the collection, with modernity and a contemporary lifestyle feeling
- Collaborate with the wider team to build tasteful, creative and cohesive outfits and looks, that style effectively with the rest of the categories, to offer a top to toe look
- To work autonomously with our supply base on direction, fabric sourcing and block development
- Working closely with the buying team to structure the collection to deliver continued newness, true choice and a balanced range with a commercial eye
- Ability to lead very technical fittings with the support of a garment tech, to reach a commercial, high quality and aesthetically beautiful product
- To fully understand technical garment and pattern construction
- Technical knowledge of fabrics for your areas, including performance and tailored fabrics and the ability to source fabrics independent of suppliers
- Produce all your own tech packs with cad and spec measures
- Ability to holistically plan the progression of your collection through the season, ensuring the appropriate product is designed for the time of the year
Knowledge / Skills:
- 7/8 years relevant industry experience in womenswear structured product
- Premium to Luxury background
- High taste level complimented with a commercial eye
- Broad industry and competitor awareness
- Specific technical expertise in Outerwear and Tailoring
- Excellent commercial handwriting with a strong eye for colour, proportion and detail
- A team player who can work across multiple product areas and within tight deadlines
- Brings passion and enthusiasm into the work dynamic
- Strong work ethic, integrity and reliability with a hands-on attitude
- Healthy obsession with creating a flattering, impeccable fit
- Ability to build a cohesive range that is both premium in quality and commercial
- Used to working autonomously with suppliers, creating blocks and prototypes through to gold seal samples
- Sustainable mindset that strives to incorporate responsible sourcing, durable design and ethical approach into all areas of their work
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time accordingly
- Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop a must
- Setting up of all your own tech packs with all spec measurements
